The Targeted Intervention Service (TIS) provides a service for families who have been notified to the Child Abuse Report Line and referred to Centacare by Families SA for the provision of outreach family support services.
We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated person committed to working with families using a child-focused approach. The successful applicant will work in partnership with families, children and Families SA in providing practical and structured in-home assistance, counselling services and parenting skills development, as well as linking families to community networks and children’s services.
Applications are invited from highly skilled professionals with a sound understanding of relevant legislation and child development as well as the child protection system and child protection risk factors.
Applicants must be willing to undertake a Police Check Clearance and hold a current Driver’s License. Applicants from Aboriginal backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
